Kirke Martin and M4 Studios offer a range of ceramic and multi-media pieces that fuse traditional techniques with independent design. The results are professionally crafted unique works of art.

Kirke aims to retain the organic qualities of the clay and to express spontaneity and elements found within nature – the flash of fire, the texture of a rock face, the earth tones found across landscapes.

Located in western Maryland near historic Keedysville, Antietam Battlefield, Harpers Ferry, and Shepherdstown, M4 Studios consists of the pottery and gallery. Here, Kirke designs and produces functional and sculptural works out of clay through the wheel-throwing, pinch, hand building and extruding methods. Depending on the series or the project Kirke will also use wood, metal, burlap and other materials to complete the work of art. M4 Studios’ functional ware are food, dishwasher, and microwave safe!
