"In 1986, my husband Randy and I opened the Turner Collection, a tiny little store in San Angelo, Texas. For two years, I did custom design and sewing for the always-interesting women of this mid-sized, West Texas town. After our son Zachary was born in '88, we moved out of custom work into manufacturing our CTC clothing line for our store and eventually for specialty stores nationwide.
