In the community since 1984, Fire Opal is committed to American Craft. Based in two of Boston's most vibrant communities, proprietors Sue Stein and Steve Murakishi dedicate themselves to bringing Jamaica Plain and Brookline the best of handmade jewelry, ceramics, wood, glass and metal from artists across the country.

Fire Opal Holiday Gift Wrap Fundraiser

Fire Opal – Jamaica Plain's annual gift wrap fundraiser had another successful season! In 2011, We gift wrapped holiday packages to raise funds for the Big Sister Association of Greater Boston. Together with the generous support of our customers, we raised $748 in our gift wrap donation program. Fire Opal has made a donation of $1100 to Andrea Kaiser, Executive Director, of the Bird Street Community Center, in Dorchester, Massachusetts.The donation was generated through Fire Opal’s gift wrapping program during the Holiday season.
