Carla Caruso was born in New York City and graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design with a BFA in glass sculpture. After years working in glass, and making jewelry for several prominent New York designers, Carla moved to Western Massachusetts where she now lives. As a child she spent hours recreating the bullfight drawings of Picasso. Their linear quality and use of negative space, along with an enduring love of nature and modern design, is reflected in her jewelry today.
