Rebecca Scott is a self-taught jeweler with a fine-art and interior design background. She originally hails from Co. Dublin, Ireland, but has called Cambridge and Somerville, MA her home since 1998. Rebecca's work echoes her love of the organic textures and shapes that she grew up around in coastal Ireland. Rebecca works predominantly in argentium silver, sterling silver and 14k gold fill with a scattering of pearls and carefully selected semi-precious stones. Each piece is made by hand in her Somerville studio with care and attention to detail. What is argentium silver? It's like sterling...but better. It has a higher fine silver content and less copper in the alloy, which leads to a brighter silver which stays tarnish-free for longer- yay! Argentium silver is also guaranteed to be made from recycled silver so- DOUBLE yay!
